Story Maps for Jira already includes multiple maps per project, activities above the epic backbone, configurable hierarchy types and links, sprint and release swimlanes, and dependency lines.

Advanced Story Maps for Jira adds:

• Story maps that span multiple Jira projects
• Swimlanes based on any custom field, including multi-select fields
• Iteration timeframes that group sprints into larger phases
• Goal issues above the map, linked to the work they fund
• Epic and swimlane statistics, including time tracking and third-party app data
• Configurable card layouts
• PNG export of the map
• An administration area to enable the app per project

Advanced Story Maps can also use Jira Premium hierarchy relationships from Advanced Roadmaps.

Move without migrating map data

Advanced Story Maps for Jira reads the data structures created by Story Maps for Jira and adds its own data when needed. You do not need to export or recreate an existing map.

Install Advanced Story Maps, confirm that your maps appear as expected, and then uninstall Story Maps for Jira so users do not see two app entries in the project navigation.
